Lawrence Ledesma, Ph.D., Q.M.E.

Dr. Ledesma received his B.A. in Psychology from UCLA and his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Michigan State University. He has been practicing psychology for over 25 years and has worked in both inpatient and outpatient facilities, providing therapy and evaluation services.

 

Dr. Ledesma is certified by California Division of Workers’ Compensation Medical Unit to examine injured workers. He is able to objectively evaluate disability claims and write medical-legal reports that help the parties involved (i.e., attorneys, claim adjusters, and injured workers) process and settle a claim.

Dr. Ledesma is able to fully and fairly assess complex and challenging issues such as "Rolda" cases and "Benson" apportionment, providing supportable opinions that help move a case towards being finalized. His reports are well-written, thoughtful, and comprehensive. His work represents "substantial medical evidence" and has significant weight.
